Wheels and Wings Fly-In Pilot Information
Welcome to Osceola Wheels and Wings, a celebration of aviation that brings together pilots, aviation enthusiasts and their family and friends from all over the region. Admission is free to Spectators. ALL Pilots in Command get a FREE Pancake Breakfast! Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
L.O. Simenstad Municipal Airport (KOEO) has a 5,005 foot paved runway (10-28) and 2192 foot grass runway (04-22). The Civil Air Patrol will be coordinating all aircraft ground movement in cooperation with the FAA's Temporary Tower. The Temporary Tower will open at 8 a.m., any arrivals prior to this time will be self-announcing on CTAF: 122.9. Both 100LL and Jet-A fuel will be available.
The Airport will temporarily close from 12:30 am to 2:30 p.m. for the Air Show. Both runways will re-open after the show.
ATC will control air and ground operations via temporary FAA staffed control tower between 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Check NOTAMS for frequencies and airport closure times.
